College Takes Over Your Life

I know it's been two months since I have posted but I swear that being in college has taken over my life. It doesn't help that I have been dealing with new health issues this semester. I remember when I was younger, my siblings always told me that once you get to college, time speeds up and now I understand what they meant. This semester is just flying by. I can't believe there is only a month left and I still have so much to do and I have no energy to do it. I feel like I am living on no sleep. I have started playing pool nightly with 3 of my friends and afterwards we go on night walks. Last night's walk ended with us getting back to the dorms and Jody and I getting into a massive laugh attack. Anyways, enough with my ramblings, here are some pictures I took yesterday (and one from the summer).

The fountain outside my dorms.

Took a photo of a few bikes outside and I liked how the picture came out. I really should take my camera to Tempe and take photos of all the bikes there.

Don't know how to explain where this photo is but I will try. It's taken from the sixth floor of my dorms on the bridge looking down.

My kitten Cody over the summer. He has gotten so big. I'll have to get a recent picture of him.

I figured I should finally update considering it has been a few months. This summer just flew by. It wasn't a very exciting summer, I pretty much just worked at Kohls and occasionally hung out with some friends. I moved back into the dorms on Tuesday which was pretty exciting. It feels really good to be back especially since I changed my major to elementary education. Yesterday I had my first class which was elementary math. I have to relearn math from grades 1-8 and learn how to teach it. It actually isn't as easy as it sounds.

On a completely different topic, my niece Emily Fay was born August 8, 2011 and she is absolutely precious.

Life Has Been Crazy

I have realized that life is extremely unpredictable. Things have been so hectic and crazy on my end it's not even funny. Besides the semester being over in 3 weeks and all that crap, I have been dealing with some other insane crap that makes you wonder what this world is coming to. I just am very ready for it to be summer even though I am not looking forward to going home.

I was home for the first Passover Seder on Monday night and my sister asked me to take a couple of pictures of her. She is currently 6 months pregnant with a little girl. When I am done with the semester I am going to do an actual maternity photoshoot with her, but I did manage to get a couple of ok photos.

It's a hyperbolic plane... it's math and crocheting :O

Learned how to crochet flowers :)

Downtown Phoenix

Friday afternoon was a beautiful day so I went on a walk with a friend and decided that it would be fun to bring my camera and take some photos. It ended up being a lot of fun and I am glad I brought it. It was definitely a relaxing afternoon that I really needed considering I spent pretty much the rest of the weekend studying bones and tissues for my anatomy class. All I can say is that studying and being sick sucks ass. On the bright side, my practical is over and I don't have to worry about anatomy until after spring break :D Anyways onto the pictures.

This is why I am working my ass off in college... never want to end up homeless and digging through a garbage can...

Nothing like ending a nice walk with some icecream :)

Had to put this last one in there so I can always remember that at one point I knew all of the bones of the body...

Roses

I actually took my camera out this past weekend to take some photos of some roses that I received. The photos didn't come out as well as they would have if I had taken the photos outside but oh well. It could have been worse. Sunday night I was taken out to see my first improv show in Tempe. By the end of the night, my jaw was hurting from laughing so much. Plus the food was absolutely amazing. Ending with cheesecake which made it all the better. Not much else has been going on besides being stressed to the max with school work. This is definitely a tough semester. I feel like I am constantly studying for anatomy. So many bones to memorize...

Just a Few Pictures

I figured it was about time I got around to updating with some new pictures. These photos are from when I was home for winter break. I really need to bring out my camera and just go out and take pictures more often while I am here at school but things are so hectic. Although I have to say, being back at school even with the enormous amounts of stress is nice. Anyways, onto the pictures :]

Just had to put this last one up because I really love how it turned out.
